This foil-shaped Trophy is awarded to the first placed boat in the rankings.
It has inserted, a medallion from the Dutch Solo Class Association, which was presented to the HISC Solo Fleet in 1974 at the then World Championship Series.. Tom Bennett took the medallion and made the foil in the which to fit it.
Nowadays, there are no world Championships, only a Nations Cup, which is competed for alternatively at the National Championships of England and Holland
